Sara Allegretta is an acclaimed soprano and Professor of Chamber Vocal Music, with an international career combining artistic excellence, academic achievement, and cultural leadership.
She holds degrees in both Music and Economics, including Conservatory โN. Piccinniโ of Bari (with honors), Conservatory โA. Boitoโ of Parma, and Conservatory โC. Monteverdiโ of Bolzano, plus advanced studies in music management and communication.
She is Professor at the Conservatory โN. Piccinniโ of Bari and she was a member of the Board of Directors of the Teatro Petruzzelli Foundation (Italian Ministry of Culture). She is also Artistic Director of the Federiciana Symphony Orchestra Foundation.
Her career has taken her to major theatres including Teatro alla Scala, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro dellโOpera di Roma, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, as well as Paris, Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
She has collaborated with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Daniele Gatti, and James Conlon, and stage directors including Pier Luigi Pizzi and Robert Carsen.
She has performed at the Salzburg Festival, Teatro La Fenice, Teatro Petruzzelli, and Saint-Denis, often under Maestro Riccardo Muti.
Her repertoire includes Baroque and contemporary music, with performances such as Pergolesiโs Stabat Mater and Beethovenโs Ninth Symphony, alongside international concerts and masterclasses.
